The second half started brightly with Whiteley XI dominating the first ten minutes. Their strikers were doing well when they got the ball but their number 9 was having a mare after Damo had spent the entire game winding him up. He got a chance later on but fired/miscued his shot well wide with only James to beat, forcing hysterical laughter from Damo who reminded him that he was sh*t!

Again james managed to keep them at bay with a string of good saves. It wasnt long before the game was dead and buried with Forest of Bere Grabbing their third goal. With a lapse in concentration from the defence their striker got the ball and, after Damo had managed to toe the ball away from him, it fell to their midfielder who crashed a shot from the edge of the area off the cross bar. The ball ball bounced over the line and into the roof of the net.
Unfortunately Whiteley XI could not get back into the game and the final whistle went with the score at 3-1.
Man of the match has to go to James for some outstanding saves during the match, well done mate.
